31.10.2017 | “November 13-14, 2017 will be the third meeting of the Astana club”

High-ranking politicians, former heads of state, diplomats and leading experts from 28 countries around the world will gather at the discussion platform at the Nazarbayev Center.

November 13-14, 2017 will be the third meeting of the Astana club on the theme: “Big Eurasia – 2027: Confrontation or Partnership”. The meeting will discuss geopolitical, economic and technological trends that will shape the Eurasian space in the coming decade.

Astana Club is an international discussion platform operating under the rules of the «Chatham House Rule» (the principle of “confidentiality”), whose goal is to develop a dialogue of the leading representatives of the expert and political community, discuss global trends and seek solutions to the most important problems affecting the world in general and the Eurasia region, in particular.

Astana club meetings are traditionally held in the Nazarbayev Center (in the building of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy in Astana).

The organizers are: the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy and the Institute of the World Economy and Politics by the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy (IWEP).
