The Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy, as the general partner of the Global Federation of  Competitiveness Councils, invites current and former representatives of government, industry leaders and the academic community to participate in the «Global Innovation Summit 2019».

The summit will be held September 17-18, 2019 in the city of Nur-Sultan.

The theme of the 10th anniversary Summit is «Transformation of Competitiveness! Nations – Energy – Industries – Cities – Talents». Within the framework of the Global Innovation Summit 2019, leaders from the state, academic environment and industries will discuss specific examples and methods of transformations aimed at increasing regional, national and global competitiveness. The summit consists of interactive panel discussions and workshops with the participation of 150-200 world and local representatives. Among the participants in the Summit are political, public figures, and senior officials of the Competitiveness Councils of leading countries: Charles O. Hоlliday (the Chairman of the GFCC, the Chairman of the Board of Royal Dutch Shell), Deborah L. Vince Smith (the President of the GFCC), Jan Mladek (Former Minister of Trade and Industry, Czech Republic), Michiharu Nakamura (Senior Advisor / Former President, Japan Science & Technology Agency (JST), Japan), Datuk Mohd Yusoff Suleiman (President and the Executive Director, MIGHT, Malaysia), Agris Preimanis (Head of Kazakhstan, EBRD Kazakhstan), Charles Evans (the Secretary, GFCC Executive Vice President, US Competitiveness Council), Simos Anastasopulus (the President, Competitiveness Council, Greece).
