The regional special correctional boarding school № 1 and the Children’s Home of Shchuchinsk received certificates from the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) for the purchase of specialized equipment, and this is the “Montessori Cabinet” complex and the complex for restoring the fine motor skills “Ergo”, intended for 350 children. A certificate for the special school was presented at a meeting of the Foundation’s management with the Akim of the Akmola region by Malik Murzalin.

May 26, the bilateral meeting was took place in the Akimat of Akmola region. The initiator of the negotiations was the Foundation, which, on the regular basis, holds meetings with the assets of the regions and universities of Kazakhstan within the framework of its project “Days of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation”.

During the event, issues related to the support of talented youth, as well as the implementation of social projects in the region were discussed.

As the Executive Director of the Foundation, Kanat Dzhumabaev said:

The First President’s Foundation realizes the ideas and policies of the Head of State aimed at increasing the competitiveness of human capital and the formation of a new generation of Kazakhstanis.

The Foundation launched unique projects “Smart Zholy”, “Science Slam”, “Festival of Science” and will soon present the “Method PRO” project, intended for young creative guys, keeping pace with the times and who want to contribute to the development of Kazakhstan science and information Technologies. We, on our part, are always happy to help talented children in the implementation of their projects.”

Also during the visit to Akmola region representatives of the Council of Young Scientists, Council of Creative Youth and Foundation’s laureates met with teachers and students of leading universities in Kokshetau State University, named by Ualikhanov, where they talked about the activities and existing programs of the Foundation.

The delegation of the Foundation and bright representatives of art conducted interesting master classes. For example, the well-known ballet dancer – Doszhan Tabyldy was held practical classes with students of the College of Culture, named by Akan sery.

The events of the First President’s Foundation, in the region ended with a concert in the regional philharmonic society. The laureates of the Foundation are actors of the state opera and ballet theater “Astana Opera” Meir Bainesh, Gaukhar Tasbergenova, Tatyana Vitsinskaya, Bolat Esimkhanov and the soloist of the Kazakh State Philharmonic named by Zhambyl – Yermek Kurmanayev, shared success stories and showed their skills for the joy of the audience.

Information about the Foundation: The activities of the Foundation are aimed at realizing the President’s ideas and policies, supporting young people in revealing and realizing their creative and intellectual potential, charitable activities and the development of an expert and analytical center. For 2017, the Foundation plans more than 80 events.

Over the past year, 73 events were implemented, of which 42 projects were implemented to support youth, 31 social projects.

The Foundation has special programs and grants aimed at supporting talented youth.

During 2008 – 2016, at competitive basis, the Foundation provided:

– 91 grants for scientific research and creative projects;

– 139 grants for travel of scientists and creative youth;

– 180 laureates received the Foundation Prizes;

– 399 students became holders of the Foundation’s nominal scholarships;

– 23 councils of young scientists are recognized as the best and are awarded special awards;

– 147 scientific works are recognized as the best and are marked by special awards.
