02.11.2017 | The VIII festival of creative youth “ZhasSTAR” will finished with the French operetta “Parisian life”

November 3 / Friday / will be completed the VIII International Festival of Creative Youth “ZhasSTAR”, organized by the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy, within the framework of the program of the Head of State “Ruhani zhangyru”.

October 25-November 3, the festival of this year was held in during 8 days. The cultural and educational event for the perspective and talented youth of the country united more than       3 000 participants. For them, famous figures in the field of art held creative meetings and master classes in painting, art management, choreography, cinema, music and the creation of successful comic videos (Vines) in the Internet.

On the first day of the festival an exhibition of young artists “A Look into the Future” was opened, which will last at the Almaty office of the Foundation until November 8. His works, performed in such genres as easel painting, portrait and landscape, were presented by talents from Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

The secrets of the success of his creative career and the niceties of the profession to the Kazakhstan’s youth were told by the painter Gani Bayanov, the popular boys-band “Zhigitter”, well-known in social networks, movie-makers and actors Nurlan Batyrov and Sharip Serik, the coach for strategic management in art management from Canada Lydiya Varbanova, ballerina of the Hungarian opera Aliya Tanykpayeva, actor of theater and cinema Berik Aitzhanov, film director Alexander Kott, who made the family comedy “Fir-tree”, and the famous conductor from France – Philip Yui.

Also, within the framework of the festival there was a show of domestic cartoons in honor of the 50th anniversary of Kazakhstan animation, the round table was held “Directions, artistic level and problems of new trends of modern youth cinema”.

A dense schedule of master classes allowed for the second time the festival to enter the city. The events took place not only in the Foundation’s house, but also at the basis of creative universities – the Kazakh National Academy of Arts, named after T.Zhurgenov; the Almaty Choreographic School, named after A.Seleznev; the Almaty Music College, named by P.Tchaikovsky; the Turan University and the Kazakh National Conservatory, named after Kurmangazy.

The 8-day program of the festival will finish in the evening of the operetta “Parisian Life” by Jacques Offenbach. It will be presented by students of the Kazakh National Conservatory, named after Kurmangazy, to the basis of work with the conductor Philip Yui.

In the world of music, Philip Yui is known as a conductor of versatile music. He works with the same success with a symphony orchestra, ballet, opera or operetta. Conductor of the National Orchestra of the Paris Opera, the founder and conductor of the Philharmonia “Two Worlds”, a welcome guest of many festivals, both in France and far beyond the country.
