08.06.2018 | Master from France teaches children the art of photography

A photo artist from France holds a unique master class in Almaty. Eric Vazzoler shares with the guys with Down’s syndrome the skills of photo art. The pupils of the famous master were 10 inmates of the «Kenes» rehabilitation center. The organizer of such an unusual project was the First President’s Foundation, which gave each child a personal camera.

Eric Vazzoler says, that he has no special method for special children. For 30 years of his experience, he managed to share with the youth of France, Germany and Poland. Such an unusual master class for visually impaired and visually impaired children last year, the master held for young’s from Karaganda and Almaty, with the support of the Foundation.

Each photographer tries to make a living and unusual. The guys are not only in the offices, they often go out into the street, walk in the park to make a photo report. After the end of the classes, the participants of the master class were given a book – a fascinating journey through Kazakhstan. And a little later the newly-made photographers will arrange an exhibition of their works.

The opportunity to implement such a socially important project was due to the kind, partnership relations between the Foundation of the First President, the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan and the French Alliance.

On the eve of Almaty, the meeting of the Director of the French Alliance of Almaty, Mrs.Laure du Teilhet, was held with the Director of the Representative Office of the Foundation of the  First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy:

– Children are doing with interest, they really like to learn from Eric Vazzoler. The guys are very kind and are drawn to new knowledge. The purpose of such a project is to teach children to photomasters, so that they talk about their daily lives through art. Thanks to such projects, the communicative skills of children with special needs develop. They are gradually and painlessly involved in society, says Sergey Tokhtarov.

Guests were presented with a photo album «A day in Astana», which demonstrates the achievements of Astana and gives an opportunity to take a fresh look at modern Kazakhstan.

During the conversation, they also discussed successfully implemented partner projects and planned long-term programs in the field of education, science and support of youth initiatives for the next year.
